It wasn't without its pain, and suffering, but for the most part, the Iraqis accomplished something grand and momentous in their history. I hope that the new government honors its assigned duties and executes the creation of a new and fair Constitution and turns power over when it is time for the new permanent government to take over. The peaceful transition of power is the most defining moment in a democracy. I suspect that the Iraqis, having finally tasted freedom, will pass with flying colors.
